Fireloom / Terms of service

Terms of service

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and Fireloom (“we”), an independent product operated from the United States by its developer. By creating an account or using Fireloom you accept them. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you confirm you may bind it. Fireloom is a tool for businesses and professionals, not for consumers.

2. The service

Fireloom copies data from Google Cloud Firestore databases you connect into PostgreSQL databases you connect, once or continuously. We work hard to keep it running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may improve and change the service, and we'll give reasonable notice before removing a feature you rely on.

3. Your account

Keep access to your email account and any Google account you sign in with secure; whoever controls them can sign in to Fireloom. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect misuse.

4. Your data and your databases

  • You keep all rights to the data in your databases (“Customer Data”). You give us the rights we need to process it to provide the service, and nothing more.
  • You're responsible for having the right to let Fireloom read your Firestore data and write it to your Postgres, and for the credentials you provide. Give Fireloom only the access it asks for.
  • Fireloom only reads from Firestore and only writes to Postgres tables it created. You're responsible for backups of your own databases and for what your cloud providers charge, including Firestore reads and Cloud Storage.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Fireloom to break the law or anyone's rights, to access databases you aren't authorized to access, to probe or attack our systems or anyone else's, to get around plan limits (for example with several free accounts for one project), or to resell the service without our written agreement. We may suspend accounts that do, with notice where reasonable.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

  • Free: $0. Pro: $29 per month. Team: $99 per month. Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, VAT and similar taxes, which are added where required. Plan limits are on the pricing page.
  • Paid plans renew monthly and are charged in advance through Stripe until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Billing; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid aren't refunded, except where the law requires it.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the change applies from your next billing period, and you may cancel before then.
  • If a payment fails and isn't fixed, the account may move to the Free plan, and syncs above Free limits may stop.

7. Data processing (Art. 28 GDPR)

Where Customer Data includes personal data, you are the controller and we are your processor. We:

  • process it only to provide the service and on your documented instructions, which these terms and your configuration in the dashboard make up;
  • keep it confidential, and make sure anyone with access is bound by confidentiality;
  • apply appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption of credentials at rest, transport encryption, least-privilege access and audit logs;
  • use only the sub-processors listed in the privacy policy, and tell you by email at least 30 days before adding or replacing one, so you can object or cancel;
  • help you respond to data subject requests and meet your obligations on security, breach notification and impact assessments, as far as our role allows;
  • notify you without undue delay, and within 48 hours, after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting Customer Data;
  • delete Customer Data and your connection credentials when you delete a sync, a connection or your account (documents aren't stored by us beyond processing in memory; our database backups roll over after 30 days);
  • make available the information needed to show compliance with this section, and answer reasonable audit questions in writing.

Fireloom's server is in Germany. Transfers to sub-processors outside the EU rely on adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. Email us if you need this section as a signed agreement.

8. Confidentiality and security

Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for this agreement. Report security vulnerabilities to [email protected].

9. Warranties and liability

Except as stated in these terms, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows: neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data; and each side's total liability under these terms in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid in those 12 months, or USD 100 if you paid nothing. Nothing limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud or intentional misconduct.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in the dashboard. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach of these terms. When it ends, syncs stop and we delete your account data as described in the privacy policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We'll email you at least 30 days before material changes take effect. If you keep using Fireloom after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account before then.

12. Disputes

If something goes wrong, email us first at [email protected]. We'll try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days before either side takes formal steps.
